Destination Etah 2012

Latest News (July 2011) ... David Haig-Thomas

Just reading about David Haig-Thomas on Wikipedia and other sites. It seems he visited Etah while on the British Arctic Expedition in 1937-38 - you can read an excerpt from JSTOR here. Photos from the expedition can be seen on the Scott Polar Reasearch Insitutute website here. Latest News (June 2011) ... Lars Simonsen is on board!

Lars, the safety net and chief point of contact on TSS2010 wants a piece of the action. I can't wait to start planning Destination Etah 2012 together with Lars.



Destination Etah 2011

The details are sketchy but I am in the process of thinking, dreaming and planning a solo trip to Etah in the summer of 2012. I can't wait! ;O)

First stop Siorapaluk, a training run with Jane this summer.
